![]() ![]() ![]() I even ran to the store to buy another BRAND NEW black ink cartridge. All I did was changed the ink cartridges to brand new ones since I figured the ink dried out. There should be absolutely nothing wrong with our printer as it worked perfectly fine several months ago. This is the worst display of customer service I have ever encountered. She then asks me to either rephrase my question or I have to click that "I'm done" or whatever the option is. Then asks if that answers my question, and I click no. ![]() Virtual assistant asks me questions, gives me the "no black ink printing troubleshooting" page that I've already visited. Just the virtual assistant and the "no black ink troubleshooting" page that I've already visited 1,000 times. I tried everything for troubleshooting that the diagnostics test page recommended, visited the "contact us" page, and there is literally no option to email customer service, no telephone, nothing. There is also no black ink that prints out on the alignment test page. The black ink color blocks will not print AT ALL on the "print diagnostics" page, however, the text on the page is obviously black. I recently purchased all brand new ink cartridges since it had been months since we last printed and I figured they had dried out. The last time we had used this printer, it worked beautifully and we have never had any problems. We hadn't used our photosmart 6520 in quite some time. I have literally tried everything and I am SO FRUSTRATED!!! I found a couple of links on how to fix a clogged ink cartridge and even though my cartridge was brand new it turns out that it was clogged! You may want to try following the steps for fixing a clogged ink cartridge at or on that second link, I just followed the steps for the first option and that finally fixed the problem for me! I tried using warm water and left the cartridge in there for about an hour with no luck but when I used hot water the next day and left it in there for about 15 minutes the cartridge was finally working! I am not saying that it will fix your problem but I had tried 3 different (new) cartridges and none of them would work but after following steps to fix a clogged ink cartridge they all now work (now to figure out how to keep the other 2 fresh in the meantime) Not sure if this will help anyone.but it did resolve my problem. Someone gave me this great advice and it worked for me, hope it works for you: ![]()
